A native of New York, Jenny is currently a doctoral student in Geography at the University of California, Los Angeles. She writes and researches on the politics and production of taste in the coffee industry, global + local food systems, agricultural land use change, and the culture and politics of environmental conservation and development. She has conducted fieldwork in Rwanda, Ethiopia, Japan, and California. You can also find her writing weekly at The Faster Times.
